Dr. Bobby Kalotee’s inspiring journey embodies the American dream. From humble beginnings as an immigrant from India to becoming a respected civic leader and proud United States citizen, Bobby’s perseverance and dedication have made a profound impact on New York community. With a career spanning over four decades, Bobby has selflessly served the people of Nassau County, New York, and the United States through various roles, including chairman of political parties, community activities, and ambassador on overseas missions of charitable work. His unwavering commitment to helping others has earned him numerous appointments, including the Nassau County Human Rights
Commission, Nassau University Medical Center, and Stony Brook University-Brookhaven National Lab. Bobby’s philosophy is simple yet powerful: serving others is the greatest gift we can give to humanity. He believes that by working together, we can create a better world. As a proud American and humble servant, Bobby continues to inspire others through his tireless efforts to make a positive difference in the lives of those around him. With a career spanning over four decades, Dr. Kalotee has had the privilege of serving as chairman of various political parties, community activities, and ambassador on overseas missions of charitable work. His unshakeable commitment to serving others is a testament to his remarkable character. Dr. Kalotee firmly believes that it is a blessing to serve others, and he has made it his life’s mission to help those in need. His selflessness and compassion have earned him numerous accolades, including his appointment to the Nassau County Human Rights Commission in 2016 by a unanimous vote of the Nassau County Legislature. He has also had the distinction of serving as one of the longest-serving directors on the board of directors of Nassau University Medical Center.
Dr. Kalotee’s impressive credentials include his appointment as director of Stony Brook University-Brookhaven National Lab by the State University Stony Brook of the Council. He has also had the honor of serving as chairman of the Nassau University Medical Center and chairman of Spartan Health Science University, St. Lucia. Dr. Kalotee’s philosophy is simple yet profound: he believes that there is no greater degree or honor than respecting, loving, and serving others. He firmly believes that the greatest gift we can give to humanity is good health, and he has dedicated his life to making this a reality. Dr. Kalotee’s journey is a testament to the power of hard work, determination, and compassion. From humble beginnings as a busboy in an American restaurant to becoming a successful entrepreneur and civic leader, Dr. Kalotee’s story is an inspiration to us all. He is grateful for the opportunities that America has provided him, and he is proud to be a part of this great nation. Dr. Kalotee’s commitment to serving others is unwavering, and he continues to inspire us all with his selflessness and compassion. As the International chairman of Friends For Good Health, a non-profit organization, Dr. Kalotee has had the privilege of serving others around the world. With the help of his team of dedicated Doctors , Nurses and support staff All volunteers, he has been able to provide aid to countries such as El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Mexico, Belize, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Morocco, Kenya, Guatemala, Malawi, Uganda, Pakistan, India, Haiti, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Suriname, Grenada, Trinidad, Guyana, and Jamaica.
Dr. Kalotee’s story is a shining example of the impact one person can have on the world. His selflessness, compassion, and dedication to serving others are an inspiration to us all, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations. I’m deeply grateful to call the United States my home, where I’ve had the privilege of living the American dream as a proud and humbled citizen. My journey began in a small remote village in India, where I grew up without formal education, working in my family’s agricultural field. At 18, I embarked on a path of self-discovery, traveling to Greece, Italy, France, and back to Greece, where I worked in agriculture and later in Greek merchant ships, traversing the globe to the USA, Japan, Thailand, and the Netherlands. At 20, I started anew in the vibrant city of New York, working as a dishwasher and busboy in an American-Greek restaurant. With perseverance and determination, I went on to establish my own businesses, including a construction company, publishing company, manufacturing, fire retardant coating, and the largest microbrewery in Long Island, New York. I’m thankful for the opportunities America has afforded me, and I’m blessed with a loving family whose support and encouragement inspire me to make a positive impact globally.
As chairman of the Nassau University Medical Center, Nassau County Human Rights Commission, and NICE Bus Transit Authority of Nassau County, and as a board member of various institutions, including Stony Brook University and New York Institute of Technology University, I’ve been able to serve our community and beyond. My most rewarding experience, however, has been as International chairman of Friends for Good Health, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing medical missions and disaster relief worldwide. I’m proud to be part of a team that selflessly serves others, and I believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare and compassion. My journey has taught me that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a profound impact, and I’m committed to continuing this work, inspired by the resilience and generosity of the human spirit.

His dedication to public service has been recognized through various honors, including the receipt of an honorary doctorate in science from New York Institute of Technology. Bobby’s philosophy is simple yet profound: respecting others, loving others, and serving others is the greatest degree we can earn. By living this philosophy, we can create a better world, where everyone has access to quality healthcare, compassion, and kindness.
More recently he has organized drives providing food and clothing worth more than 3.0 million dollars to people in need, both locally and abroad. Since 2006 he has also served as Co-Chairman of Toys for Tots with the US Marine’s.
